Not too long ago, there were only homosexuals, a term coined by a 19th-century physician to describe individuals who were attracted to the same sex, a condition that was until recent times considered a mental illness. It’s not all that clear what a heteroflexible is. Or perhaps it refers to heterosexuals who have open minds when it comes to the subject of sexual orientation.
It refers to people who might be gay, but don’t know it yet, because they haven’t met the right girl or guy. Consider, for instance, the latest word to enter the lavender lexicon: heteroflexible. It’s not easy keeping up with the gay community.
